What do you know that your clients don’t?

Probably a lot more than you think.

If you have been in public practice for a while, the amount of information that you walk around with that you just take for granted is immense. Have doubts about that? Recall the last time you trained a new person on your team. Aren’t there a thousand little relevant points that have to be communicated for that new person to be able to do their job well?

The opportunity then is to find out what insights you have casually discovered while working with your clients…the observations you take for granted every day. Can you find a way to capture those insights and then transfer them to your clients?

As a CPA, you have privileged access to client financial data. If you don’t have a way to share what you see, you and your clients are missing a very big opportunity.
