Our People Are Our Competitive Advantage.

We have put a great team of experienced professionals together — all working to provide exceptional service. To that end, we invest a great deal of time and resources in continual training and coaching. We employ a consultative approach to the majority of our processes.

Brannon Poe,
CPA, Founder

Brannon began facilitating successful accounting practice transitions in 2003. He pioneered a consulting-based approach to transitioning accounting firms, which has culminated in Poe Group Advisors’ unique process – The Seamless Succession™.

He started his career in public accounting as an auditor with Ernst & Young before working for several years in auditing and tax preparation for the regional firm of Elliott, Davis & Company. Subsequently, Brannon became a shareholder in a privately-held, family-owned business and a founding shareholder in a successful start-up manufacturing company. This breadth of experience — with companies large and small — has provided the foundation for Poe Group Advisors to become the industry service leader.

He is the author of “Accountant’s Flight Plan: Best Practices for Today’s Firms” (published by the AICPA and CPA Canada), “On Your Own: How to Start Your Own CPA Firm” and multiple blogs.

Darryl Boyd,

With 20 years of business and management experience, Darryl is an expert at integrating people and strategy, helping clients put their intentions and goals into motion to achieve results. He pays close attention to what clients think and do, and his approach builds bridges of understanding between people, ideas and strategic decisions.

Darryl worked in the financial services industry for more than 10 years before starting his own project management business. He has contracted in a variety of fields such as environmental recycling, marketing, media and software development. Before joining Poe Group Advisors, Darryl was a consultant for Costco Wholesale Canada, managing projects for their real estate division.

Darryl lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, studying ancient history and running.

Randi Vetvik,
Market Leader – Québec

Randi began her career in insurance and banking, holding several management positions at a major Canadian consumer products manufacturer. She played an active role in the transition process after the company was acquired by an international conglomerate.

After ensuring a successful transition, Randi started her own luxury products business, leveraging her entrepreneurial savoir-faire to do everything from original product design to marketing, while managing all of the business’s operations.

Analytical and rigorous in her thinking, Randi employs a 360-degree view of a company and its stakeholders from both a global and detailed perspective. Her approach is that of a transaction facilitator. She listens carefully to the needs of both parties, intervening with nuance and integrity so the process is as harmonious and satisfactory as possible for all parties involved.
