Every great coach and player in any professional sport goes back the week after the game to watch the film in order to do a Post-Game Analysis. Well, Tax Season is here, and it’s game time for you!
You probably don’t have a video crew taping every move you make around the office to capture every play! However, that needn’t stop you from documenting the information needed to inspire you to better analyze, refine, and teach the skills and techniques that make for a highly successful tax season and career.
We have made a very simple worksheet to help you capture the observations you make during tax season. You likely won’t have time to implement these until later, and that’s OK. This tool will help you not only document what you observe, but it will make you more aware of improvement ideas, so you’ll find more of them. Give this tool to your team as well, and you might be surprised at the data you have once the game (tax season) is over.
