Georgian Bay is located in south-central Ontario, about an hour and a half from Toronto. The highest point of the Niagara Escarpment is located on its southern shores. In addition, the city of Barrie is only 30 minutes to the south. It ranks 9th in Ontario’s population centres, and is home to many education, healthcare, technology and service sectors. Barrie has a plethora of cultural festivals, events and entertainment options, and has an array of shopping malls and flea markets to visit. With over 200 restaurants in the city, there are a variety of culinary experiences to enjoy, from fine dining to fun and casual meals.
